UNITY
"Unity was inspired by reflecting upon my own experiences of integration" says composer Dan Ludford-Thomas. "Initially the task was to write a song inspired by the Commonwealth Games. When we invited Anderton Park Primary School it became much more meaningful to me. The children sent me their words around the theme “unity” and this inspired me to reflect upon my own experiences. It was my particular fight as a child and my call to all." This film is possible thanks to a number of funders, including Birmingham Music Education Partnership and forms part of A Creative City Project generously funded by Birmingham City Council.
